A storm system will be passing to the west along the Appalachians but it will be bringing heavy rain during the day Wednesday. Amounts could range from an inch to possibly 3 inches in areas that see steady rain or thunderstorm activity. Because the ground is already saturated flooding is possible.

Wednesday high will be in the low 50s, but it will be cooler later in the week so there is a change we could even hear some thunder on Wednesday.
