Friday was expected to be mostly sunny and warm, offering a reprieve from the deluge of rain this week that caused significant problems throughout the region.
The high will be around 74, according to the National Weather Service. A west wind will blow at about 5 to 14 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Overnight the temperature will drop to about 53 degrees, with the winds calming to around 6 miles per hour.
There will be about a 30 percent chance of showers after noon on Saturday, and the rest of the day expected to feature mostly sunny skies and a high in the low 70s.
Sunday may also have a slight chance of showers and will be breezy with a high in the mid-70s.
