Good beach weather is forecast for Ocean City this weekend, at least until likely storms arrive on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs are forecast in the upper 70s with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies Friday and Saturday.

On Sunday, storms are likely to move through. The weather service is calling for a 60 percent chance of storms starting around midday, with more than half an inch of rain possible.

Three-foot waves were forecast Friday with a low risk of rip currents. The water is about 68-73 degrees.
