The Baltimore area could see some snow showers Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS is predicting scattered snow showers, mainly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m, according to its early Sunday morning forecast.
Sunday's forecast calls for a high near 38 with winds out of the northwest moving between 14 and 22 mph. Wind gusts could climb as high as 36 mph. Sunday has a 23 percent chance of precipitation. If snow does come, it will be less than a half inch, the NWS said.
Sunday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, then clearing, with a low around 24 and blustery northwest winds between 14 and 21 mph.
Forecasters predict a sunny Monday with a high near 40, followed by slight chances of freezing rain Monday night and Tuesday when a front moves into the area. Wednesday and Thursday are forecasted to be clear days before another frontal system moves in from the west Thursday night.
