The fog was expected to burn off before 10 a.m. and eventually give way to partly sunny conditions this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures were expected to reach 45 today.
But rain will move into the area tonight and the chance of precipitation is 100 percent, according to the weather service. The low will be in the mid- to upper-30s.
We could see a half-inch or more of precipitation, but it should not snow, the weather service forecast says.
Rain will continue into Sunday before 10 a.m. with patchy fog again, especially outside of Baltimore. But temperatures should reach into the low- to mid-60s. The forecast says the chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
The low Sunday night should be in the 40s, but Monday looks like a near-perfect day — mostly sunny and highs in the upper-50s.
