Severe thunderstorms are possible in the Baltimore area Tuesday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service said, bringing damaging winds, large hail and the possibility of a tornado.
While the threat of storms is “somewhat conditional,” the weather service said, any storms that do develop will likely be severe. There is also a small risk of a tornado.
Storms are most likely to hit Northern Maryland, the weather service said, with the highest risk coming between 2 p.m.-11 p.m.
Temperatures in the high 80s are expected through most of the week, before cooling down slightly Friday with a high of 80.
