The National Weather Service is calling for a relatively mild weekend through Sunday when rain is likely.
Friday's forecast is sunny with a high near 51 degrees. The temperature will drop to near 38 degrees after the sun sets at 4:49 p.m., according to the weather forecast office in Sterling, Va.
Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high near 52 degrees. Clouds are forecast to increase into the night when temperatures are expected to drop to about 40 degrees.
Forecasters are calling for rain on Sunday, beginning around noon. The temperatures could reach a high of 49 degrees with a chance of showers into the night.
