Orioles fans take note: Today's rain is expected to end most likely around noon, increasing the likelihood that weather will not affect today's American League Championship Series Game 2 against the Kansas City Royals.
The National Weather Service said that the rain that fell on Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning will likely continue before noon. Patchy fog will accompany the rainfall; otherwise, expect cloudy conditions with a high near 60, NWS said. Winds will come from the north at around 10 mph, NWS said.
There is a 60-percent chance of rain today, and new precipitation amounts are expected to be less than a 10th of an inch, NWS said. Tonight expect partly cloudy conditions with a low around 45 with northwest winds from 5-9 mph, NWS said.
Around 10:30 a.m. misty precipitation fell in some spots of Baltimore. ALCS Game 2 is slated to start at Camden Yards at 4 p.m.
