The cooler, sunny weather seen in the Baltimore region yesterday will continue today, with highs in the upper 70s expected, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds will move in this evening and skies will become mostly cloudy tonight, with temperatures dropping to the lower 60s in the downtown area and into the 50s in the suburbs, the weather service said.

There is a chance of showers on Thursday, when temperatures are again expected to peak in the 70s, and similar rainy weather is forecast through Sunday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible through the weekend, the weather service said.
