Thursday will feel cool compared to warm, humid Preakness forecast

Thursday's forecast calls for a high of 70, providing some relief before a warm, muggy Preakness weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will be similar weather-wise, with highs in the mid 70s in Baltimore and sunny.

Saturday, however, will bring warm and humid weather, along with a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s, and dew points are expected to in the lower to mid-60s.

More storms are possible before midnight, then a slight chance of showers. Saturday's overnight low will be around 69.

Sunday will be warm, with highs in the upper 80s, and more chances for thunderstorms after noon.

Cooler temperatures are expected to return at the start of the work week. Monday's high is expected to be in the mid 70s.
