A thunderstorm with potentially hazardous wind gusts was forecasted to strike Baltimore on Monday as well as Anne Arundel and Howard counties.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued until 3:30 p.m., according to The National Weather Service. The weather agency advises people to stay indoors and off the roads as the wind could knock down trees and cause flooding.
Localized power outages are also possible, according to the weather service.
