Maryland weather: Temperature expected to reach mid- to upper 60s on Tuesday

Pull your sunglasses out and get ready to hang up your jackets. Skies will be mostly sunny all week and temperatures will rise steadily, reaching a high of 71 degrees Thursday.

High pressure is sitting above the region which is likely to bring sunny, clear skies, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will climb from the 30s overnight Monday to about 67 degrees Tuesday, followed by an overnight low in the low 40s, the weather service said.

Wednesday will be around 65 degrees before Thursday and Friday bring highs of 71 and 69, respectively.

Clouds will move in Friday night, and Saturday there’s a 30% chance of rain with a high of 56 degrees, the service said. On Sunday, the first day of Daylight Saving Time, the high will drop to 51 with partly sunny skies.
