Cloudy skies are expected throughout the day, with 10-15 mph winds and gusts nearing 20 mph. Showers are possible in the evening hours and overnight as a stormy system reaches Maryland by Wednesday.
Potentially heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast Wednesday, with more than an inch of precipitation possible. Humidity is forecast to be high, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s. More 15-20 mph winds are expected.
Rain could linger into Thursday, with cooler air moving in behind the system. Highs Thursday are forecast in the upper 60s with skies clearing out by nightfall.
Lows are expected to drop back into the upper 40s and lower 50s Thursday night into Friday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s Friday and Saturday.
