Temperatures forecast to surpass freezing Wednesday afternoon

Air temperatures are forecast to rise above freezing Wednesday afternoon, but wind chills are expected to make it feel 5-10 degrees colder.

Overnight lows were forecast in the mid- to upper teens. Temperatures are expected to rise to the 30s by early afternoon, peaking in the upper 30s.

Westerly winds of 10-15 mph are expected to make it feel like the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Snow is possible late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with only light accumulations in the Baltimore area.

Temperatures are forecast in the upper 20s Thursday and Friday with wind chills in the teens and lower 20s. Lows are expected in the teens.

More cold is forecast Saturday, followed by a chance for a wintry mix Sunday.
