Sunshine, low humidity, highs in lower 80s forecast Friday

A pleasant weather pattern was expected to continue to bring clear skies, low humidity and highs in the lower 80s in the Baltimore area Friday.

The morning was forecast to start in the mid- to upper-60s.

Calm winds and dew points in the upper 50s, a level that feels comfortable, were expected throughout the day.

Heat and humidity could begin to creep up over the weekend. Highs were forecast in the upper 80s Saturday and Sunday with dew points reaching the lower 60s, at the lower end of what many people perceive as humid. Overnight lows were expected around 70 degrees.

The heat was expected to ratchet up further early next week, with highs in the lower 90s and uncomfortable humidity with dew points in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
