Some areas of the Baltimore region saw flurries Tuesday morning as temperatures remained 10-15 degrees below normal.
Overnight lows were forecast in the mid-30s, and some areas saw light snow showers in the early morning hours.
Less than an inch of accumulation is expected, with the best chances along the Mason-Dixon Line.
Afternoon highs are forecast in the lower 40s. Normal highs this time of year are in the mid- to upper 50s.
The clouds are expected to clear out by the evening.
Rain is possible Wednesday, with temperatures expected to hover around 50s. A brief warm-up, potentially to 70 degrees, is forecast Thursday, with more rain and possibly thunderstorms.
But then the colder-than-normal trend returns Friday with highs again only in the 40s.
