Baltimore dropped into the 40s for the first time since May early Sunday.
Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the point of record for Baltimore, hit 47 degrees about 7 a.m. That was the coldest since the airport hit 46 degrees on May 27.
Westminster meanwhile dropped to 48 degrees, while Frederick reached 39 degrees.
As fall-like weather has arrived, we have flirted with the 50-degree mark. BWI reached 51 degrees early Saturday morning, and has dropped to the 50s four other times this month.
Normal lows are in the upper 50s this time of year, with highs in the upper 70s.
It may be a while before the region gets as cold again, with lows in the 50s and 60s and highs in the 70s and 80s forecast for the next five days, according to the National Weather Service.
