Pleasant start to week forecast, with highs near 70

Mild, sunny weather is forecast for the beginning of this week, with highs near 70 degrees Monday after a chilly morning.

Overnight lows were forecast in the 40s in Baltimore but into the 30s in suburban and rural areas. A frost advisory was in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. in Carroll and Frederick counties, with lows expected in the mid-30s.

Temperatures are forecast in the mid- to upper-60s in the afternoon under mostly clear skies.

Even warmer temperatures are forecast Tuesday, with highs in the mid- to upper-70s.

But then colder air is forecast to start moving in Wednesday, with possible rain showers and highs in the lower 60s.

Highs are forecast in the upper 50s by Thursday and Friday.
