Partly cloudy skies, highs in upper 60s forecast Tuesday

One more day of pleasant weather, with highs in the upper 60s and partly cloudy skies, was forecast in the Baltimore area Tuesday before showers and then colder air move in.

A 60 percent chance of showers was forecast Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.

Lows overnight Tuesday into Wednesday were forecast in the mid- to upper 40s.

From Wednesday through the weekend, colder air is forecast to dip southward across the eastern U.S. Highs Wednesday through Saturday are forecast in the mid- to lower- 50s, with lows in the mid- to upper 30s.

The season's first frost is possible for much of the Baltimore area, most likely early Saturday morning.

Skies are forecast to remain clear and sunny for the end of the week into the weekend.
