Opening Day forecast is warming up

It looks like Orioles fans might get some decent weather to enjoy Opening Day on Monday, after all.

Forecasters had been predicting temperatures might possibly stay in the 40s or lower 50s for the season's first game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. But now they expect high pressure to build Monday, bringing with it a southerly flow of warm air.

The National Weather Service is forecasting highs in the upper 50s, but other sources, including the Weather Channel and Weather Underground, are predicting temperatures could rise to the upper 60s. Stay tuned to forecasts the next few days as meteorologists sort out the uncertainty.

Winds could be breezy and gusting up to 20 mph.

An atmospheric disturbance overhead could produce some rain showers, but forecasters think that is more likely Monday night.

First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
