The daytime warmth is not forecast to come close to a record, with high marks well into the 90s for much of the first half of October.
More warmth is forecast through the weekend, with partly cloudy skies, highs in the mid-80s and lows in the 60s.
A frontal system, possibly mixing with remnants of Tropical Storm Karen, could bring showers and cooler temperatures, though still warmer than normal, to start the next work week.
