More showers and storms are possible across the Baltimore area Thursday, with highs climbing to the mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service.
A 40 percent chance of rain is expected, with isolated showers possible in the morning and storm chances in the afternoon and evening.
Overnight lows were expected around 60 degrees, rising into the mid-70s in the afternoon. Lows Thursday night could drop to the upper 50s.
Skies are expected to clear somewhat overnight Thursday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies Friday. Temperatures are forecast to warm further Friday, reaching the lower 80s.
More storms are possible Friday afternoon. The weather service's Storm Prediction Center was calling for a 5-15 percent chance of storms turning severe.
Rainy weather is expected to stretch into Saturday, with showers and storms likely and highs in the upper 70s.
The pattern is expected to clear out by Sunday afternoon as a cold front passes through, dropping highs to the 60s and lows into the 40s Sunday and Monday.
