More rain and storm chances forecast Wednesday

More rain and thunderstorm chances are expected in the Baltimore area on Wednesday, with highs in the lower 80s.

About a 50-60 percent chance of storms is expected. Southerly winds are forecast to bring warm, humid air to the region.

A coastal flood advisory is in effect until noon for the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, including the shorelines of Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford counties and Baltimore City. High tides are forecast about 1.5 feet above normal.

Rain and storm chances continue Thursday, though they are expected to be more slim, at about 30 percent. Friday, 50 percent rain and storm chances are expected. Highs could reach the upper 80s both days.

Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies are forecast for the weekend, with highs in the 80s.
