More clouds but dry weather, 60s forecast Monday

A respite from showery weather is forecast early this week, starting with a cloudy day reaching the upper 60s on Monday, but more rain chances are ahead later in the week.

Lows were forecast in the lower 50s early Monday morning, with mostly cloudy skies throughout the day and highs approaching 70 degrees, and the lower 70s downtown.

Skies could clear some overnight, bringing a peek of sunshine with partly cloudy skies on Tuesday and highs again around 70 degrees.

Rain chances return Wednesday and linger into Thursday, with about a 30 percent chance of rain. Beyond a front bringing that precipitation, temperatures are forecast to cool down to the 40s overnight and the mid-60s in the afternoon Friday.
