Still colder-than-normal temperatures forecast Thursday

Temperatures are forecast to moderate Thursday, rising into the mid-40s, but wind chills are still expected in the 30s.

Overnight lows were expected below freezing, with wind chills well into the 20s. But with mostly sunny skies during the day, temperatures are forecast to rise into the 40s by midday. Breezes of 10-15 mph are expected to make it feel colder.

More cold is forecast Friday, with lows around 30 degrees and highs in the upper 30s. Stronger winds are forecast to return, with 15-20 mph gusts making it feel like the 20s again.

Calm winds and highs in the lower 40s are forecast Saturday before a dramatic change in the weather pattern arrives Sunday.

Highs are forecast in the mid-50s with chances for rain showers Sunday, and rain likely overnight into Monday. Temperatures could surge into the upper 60s Monday with lingering rain chances.
