Sunshine returns Wednesday, though temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler, with highs in the lower to mid-50s.

But then warmth and rain are forecast Thursday and Friday, with chances for showers and highs in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.

But another cold front is forecast to pass through before the weekend.
