Milder temperatures forecast to set in on Election Day

High temperatures could be near 70 degrees Tuesday as milder air moves into the region for the middle of the week.

After overnight lows in the 40s, temperatures are expected to reach the 60s under mostly sunny skies. Clouds could gradually move in over the afternoon and evening hours.

Lows in the 50s, mostly cloudy skies and highs again in the upper 60s are forecast Wednesday.

Chances of rain showers and storms are forecast from Wednesday night through Thursday, with highs Thursday in the mid-60s.

On the other side of a front bringing that rain, there are expected to be temperatures back in the 30s and 40s Friday into the weekend.
