Milder stretch forecast with highs near 50 Monday

A relative break from the cold is forecast to start Monday, with temperatures approaching 50 degrees and overnight lows above the freezing mark.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies are forecast Monday. Temperatures are expected in the mid- to upper-40s most of the day, dropping to the upper 30s Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Rain showers are possible Tuesday, with highs again in the upper 40s and lows in the upper 30s.

Highs could hit 50 degrees Wednesday before colder, drier air moves in.

Lows are expected around freezing or slightly below Thursday and Friday mornings, with highs around 40 degrees both days.
