Clouds, highs in mid-80s Wednesday, evening rain chances

Highs in the mid-80s are forecast Wednesday under cloudy skies in the Baltimore area, with a slight uptick in humidity and a chance of showers late.

Overnight lows were forecast in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Cloud cover was expected to increase in the early morning hours, with mostly cloudy skies for most of the day.

Moisture in the air is expected to be increased compared with recent days, but still relatively low for summertime, with dew points in the lower 60s. Humidity could increase in the evening hours as there is a 50 percent chance of rain showers through the night.

Rain chances carry over into Thursday morning, when there is also a chance of thunderstorms. Highs are forecast in the lower 80s with higher humidity, with dew points in the upper 60s.

Friday and Saturday, sunshine is expected to return with highs in the mid-80s.
