The National Weather Service declared a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Baltimore region Thursday, anticipating snow, sub-zero wind chills and gusts in excess of 50 mph this weekend.
Friday should be sunny, but that won't make it warm -- wind chills could reach as low as -4 degrees during the day.
A coating to an inch of snow is expected Saturday, falling some time between 7 a.m. through Saturday night, the weather service said.
A front of Arctic air will keep temperatures below freezing nearly all weekend, especially with winds forecast to drive the wind chill into the single digits and negatives.
Another storm system could bring a wintry mix to the area Tuesday and Wednesday.
