A dry cold is expected for Baltimore throughout the day Wednesday, with the next chance for precipitation anticipated on Thursday.
Skies are expected to be clear and temperatures should climb to a high of about 40 degrees at about 2 p.m. before dropping back into the 30s Wednesday night and throughout Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
Clouds moving in Wednesday night could bring rain and snow showers after 10 a.m. Thursday, the weather service said. The forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of precipitation, and only a trace, if any, accumulation.
An Arctic front set to arrive in Baltimore on Thursday could bring more frigid temperatures through early next week, the weather service said.
