Olympics get star treatment at Universal's NBC Sports Grill & Brew

Visitors can see the Rio Games on restaurant's 100-foot screen

What: Want to watch the Rio Olympics on a bigger screen than the 55-incher in your living room? Check out that 100-foot, high-def baby atop NBC Sports Grill & Brew, which opened last year at Universal CityWalk. Folks will be able to watch the Games from bleachers set up outside, and the restaurant is offering select menu items along with two "bleacher bars." Universal will give away free appetizer vouchers and special-edition rubber wristbands to the first 25 annual passholders to arrive each night. If you can't stand the heat, the broadcasts (on NBC's networks, naturally) will be shown inside too.

Where: Intersection of Interstate 4 and Kirkman Road, Orlando

When: 5 p.m. daily, Aug. 5-21

Cost: Free. Parking in Universal Orlando's garage for Florida residents after 6 p.m. is free.

Phone: 407-224-3663
