Now in its 49th year, the Philadelphia Folk Festival is an annual blend of music, crafts and food. Music is the main focus, with more than three dozen acts to be hosted by folk personality Gene Shay.

Featured performers include Richard Thompson, Taj Mahal, Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy. A children's area between two of the stages will offer storytellers, crafts and other entertainment.
