Feeling crabby? Head on across the Bay Bridge to the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort's second annual Crab Week – actually 14 days — featuring crab-themed activities and a five-course tasting menu from celebrity chef Bryan Voltaggio.
Voltaggio, of Bravo Top Chef fame, will host a dinner for up to 18 guests at the Cambridge resort's Water's Edge Grill on Aug. 27. (Tickets are $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity.) He'll also serve as a celebrity judge for a crab-focused "Iron Chef"-style competition.
In addition, the resort hosts crab-cake eating contest, a crab cook-off, special crab dinners at the nearby J.M. Clayton Company, plus crab cookie making, crab-walk contests and crabby tattoos for the kids.
