Horseshoe Crab and Shorebird Festival. Pay tribute to the natural wonders of Delaware Bay – the horseshoe crbas and migrating shorebirds – at this festival on May 24 at Milton Memorial Park. Downtown Rehoboth Beach Restaurant Week. Dinner guests enjoy fixed price meals at participating Rehoboth eateries, including Bramble & Brine, Cilantro, Dos Locos, Espuma, Jake's Seafood House, Lup di Mare and Salt Air. Jolly Trolley History Tour. The Jolly Trolley provides the wheels and the Rehoboth Beach Museum adds the juice to this tour showcasing the history of Rehoboth Beach. Tour dates are June 5, June 19, Aug. 21, Sept. 4 and Sept.18 at 9 a.m. Tour starts at the Anna Hazzard House, 17 Christian St., Rehoboth. Tickets are $10 and reservations are required. Rehoboth Beach VegFest. Rehoboth Beach's VegFest festival celebrates vegetarian foods on June 13-15 with cooking demos, music, guest speakers, a catered picnic and more. Free festival on June 14. Info: rehobothvegfest.org

Lewes Garden Tour. Take a self-guided tour through some of the most beautiful private gardens in historic Lewes. Then browse more than 40 vendors at a garden market in Zwaanendael Park. This year's tour includes a water-garden installation created by landscape architect Paul Devilbliss. Free shuttle service available. Event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 21. Downtown Rehoboth Beach July Fourth Fireworks. Main Street and Zambelli Internationale present the annual fireworks display along the beach and boardwalk in Rehoboth at 9:15 p.m. July 4. The fireworks are funded by the community and donations are welcome. Info: 302-227-2772

41st Annual Outdoor Fine Art and Fine Craft Show. More than 100 artists are showcased on the grounds of the Rehoboth Art League in this annual gathering of fine art, food, entertainment and music. Woodland Ferry Festival. The community festival will be held Sept. 13 along Woodland Church Road in Woodland, Del. The events pay tribute to the historic Woodland Ferry, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
