Ocean City marks the 25th anniversary of Springfest starting today with the annual four-day event that includes music, food, arts, crafts and more.
Vince Gill and Pat Benatar are the headline acts for the weekend, but if you don't have tickets already you're out of luck since both of those concerts are sold out. Beatlemania Again performs tonight at 7 p.m. and tickets are available.
Still, there is plenty of music and dancing on the outdoor stage for the event set at the Ocean City Inlet Parking lot. Admission to Springfest is free, although some performances require tickets.
State transportation officials are warning of higher than normal volume on the Bay Bridge because of Springfest.
Officials say motorists should expect higher than normal traffic from Thursday through Sunday. Officials say that they will monitor traffic conditions throughout the weekend and, weather permitting, open an additional lane to eastbound traffic to help ease congestion.
Officials are encouraging motorists to travel at off-peak times including Thursday and Friday mornings before 10 a.m. and evenings after 10 p.m.
