York County Resource Recovery

Watch as garbage is turned into "green" power at the York County Resource Recovery Center. This waste-to-energy facility uses garbage as fuel to produce steam that powers a turbine to generate electricity. Visitors are given an overview of the process followed by a walking tour of the facility, which is designated as a source of "green power."
