- Tom Lynn of Radnor-Winston makes a gallant appearance on Jeopardy as 50 friends, former colleagues and family members gather to watch on TV at the Zen West cantina on York Road. Lynn led several times during the game and got final Jeopardy right. But so did the woman who was leading at the end, so she won. Still, the bar crowd gave Lynn a standing ovation.
- Tom Lynn of Radnor-Winston, a retired Boys' Latin School teacher, is going to Zen West restaurant Monday evening, to watch himself on Jeopardy! He is a contestant this week and invited all of his friends to come watch with him. He is not allowed to say if he won.
- Nate Allan sat on a four-legged stool, knees bent showing the tear in his gray skinny jeans, naked feet perched on the rungs of the stool. He leaned forward into the microphone. "Thanks guys for coming out today," he said to the handful of teens sitting on the metal bleachers in front of the stage set up at the Harford County Farm Fair in Bel Air. "It's real hot out here so I'm gonna make this my last song."

- Jeff Aug has moved so far in his career as a guitarist that he now lives in a town in southern Germany, but he's returning to the town where he grew up, Laurel, for a solo concert on Friday, June 1 at 8 p.m. at Montpelier Arts Center
- Goofy '80s parody band Steel Panther performed at Baltimore's Rams Head Live on May 17.
- It appears the show will be the band's first in the city since 2008.
