Embattled Rep. David Stringer will not be allowed to submit documents in secret as the Arizona House Ethics Committee investigates complaints about his offensive comments and expunged criminal charges from the 1980s, the panel said Wednesday.

The House Ethics Committee disclosed Friday it had investigated a trip to Turkey taken by an aide to Baltimore County Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger but concluded the staff member had acted in good faith and will take no further action.
