After Giovani Bernard caught a short swing pass, Ihedigbo flew into the flat to deny Bernard the first down. Bernard slipped out of his grasp, but his teammates swarmed the running back and tackled him for an 11-yard loss.

- Heading into Sunday's game at M&T Bank Stadium, one of the few things A.J. Green hasn't done in two-plus NFL seasons is star against the Ravens. In three career games, Green has nine receptions for 122 yards and no touchdowns. He played briefly in a meaningless regular-season finale last season and caught two passes for 26 yards.
- The Bengals want to be balanced offensively. They run a single-back offense and often use two tight ends to create mismatches.
- During a decorated college career at West Virginia, Baltimore's Tavon Austin was tough to get a grasp of in the open field. He totaled 3,413 receiving yards in four years in Morgantown, and much of the damage Austin did as a receiver came after the catch when the Mountaineers quickly got him the ball in space. Five games into his NFL career, though, the St. Louis Rams rookie has found that space hard to come by.
