Orioles manager Buck Showalter didn't seem to take the allegations of tampering stemming from Aaron Judge telling Manny Machado he'd look good in pinstripes too seriously, joking that he was glad Machado got away with recruiting Judge.
Orioles first baseman Chris Davis was limited to designated hitter duty because of elbow soreness in Wednesday's 10-9 come-from-ahead loss to the Cardinals, but he looked fine launching a three-run opposite field home run in the fifth inning.
