Digest (Feb. 2): Blast held in check, 4-2, in first clash with Wave

In their first matchup of the season against the Milwaukee Wave, the visiting Baltimore Blast were handed a 4-2 defeat. Both teams implemented a defensive style. The Blast were led by Sylla Salifou, Ty Shipalane and Sam Guernsey with one point apiece. Max Ferdinand compiled three assists to lead the Wave. William Vanzela had 10 saves in the losing effort, while Josh Lemos compiled 11 saves for the Wave.
