Ravens nose guard Terrence Cody recently underwent hip surgery, according to league sources with knowledge of the situation.
Although Cody is expected to be sidelined for the Ravens' offseason activities, the former second-round draft pick is expected to make a full recovery by training camp.
Cody is coming off a rough season, starting just three games and dipping to 25 tackles, no sacks, no forced fumbles and no fumble recoveries with one pass deflection. He was replaced in the starting lineup by veteran Ma'ake Kemoeatu.
Cody also dealt with an elbow injury last season.
