In another breakthrough for professional sports and the LGBTQ community, Major League Baseball and the NFL have both signed on to parade in the New York City Pride March on June 24.
This will be the first time the NFL or MLB will participate in the march.
The pair will join five other participating professional leagues: the NBA, WNBA, NHL, National Women's Hockey League and Major League Soccer. Tennis icon Billie Jean King was named a grand marshal for the parade in March.
