Three wide receivers were among eight Ravens released on Monday, and five other players were placed on season-ending injured reserve, bringing the Ravens roster from 90 to 77 players.
NFL teams must be down to 75 players by 4 p.m. Tuesday.
“Tough day. It’s always a challenging day when you have cutdown day,” coach John Harbaugh said. “Every one of those guys that we let go had a really good camp. I believe every one of those guys can play in the National Football League given the opportunity. They really forwarded their case to play in this league. They were all successes.”
