The Ravens made headway in replacing their injured long snapper Tuesday.
Ethan Albright, a Pro Bowl snapper with the Redskins in 2007, worked out with the Ravens on Tuesday, along with Jake Ingram, the only long snapper selected in the 2009 draft. Albright and Ingram are trying out for the roster spot vacated by the injured Morgan Cox. On his weekly radio show on WBAL, coach John Harbaugh said the Ravens had narrowed the field to two candidates.
Albright, 39, has played in 236 games for four teams. He spent nine years with the Redskins (2001-09), and signed in late September with the Chargers, but was released two weeks later.
