The Ravens have added some eventual Hall of Fame players such as Rod Woodson and Shannon Sharpe over their 20-year history in Baltimore, but their most important free-agent acquisition arrived March 27, 2000.
That was the day the NFL approved Steve Bisciotti's purchase of 49 percent stake in the franchise. A little more than four years later, he became majority owner.
"As we all know, the beginning of the turnaround in this franchise was once Steve Bisciotti came aboard, especially from a personnel standpoint," said Wally Williams, who played offensive line for the Ravens from 1996 to 1998.
