The last time Joe Flacco ran out for a playoff game at M&T Bank Stadium, he was taking his first steps toward a Super Bowl MVP.
When Flacco takes the field against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, he’ll do so as the backup to rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson. He acknowledged that it’s still a strange feeling after he spent 10 ½ seasons as the Ravens’ unquestioned starter.
“It’s definitely not the most fun position in the world,” Flacco said Friday. “It is what it is.”
