Four sure, NBA teams hoping tonight's draft as deep as '84's

Depending on who is doing the talking, tonight's NBA draft is either the best in talent since the class of 1984 produced Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Sam Bowie, Sam Perkins, Otis Thorpe and Kevin Willis, or just a one-man show in Shaquille O'Neal, a 7-foot center from Louisiana State.

In the eyes of the scouts, O'Neal is the only guaranteed franchise player in a draft blessed with a surplus of promising shooting guards and small forwards, but devoid of proven point guards and short on power forwards.
