Ex-Towson Catholic star Greene to Celtics
Former Towson Catholic star Donte Greene was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Boston Celtics in a swap of former Syracuse first-round draft picks Thursday. In exchange for Greene, who averaged 5.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game with the Sacramento Kings two seasons ago but did not play after signing with Memphis last April, the Grizzlies acquired second-year player Fab Melo. The No. 22 overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, Melo averaged 1.2 points and 0.3 blocks per game in limited action with the Celtics.
